Monday-Tuesday, September 9-10
A Canoe Trip: Begins on Monday 9/9 in the Adirondacks (Eagle Bay) with overnight camping
(or people can stay in a local cabin or hotel)
and on Tuesday 9/10 an easy paddle to Anne LaBastille's former West of Wind cabin site on
"Black Bear Lake" and a short hike into her Thoreau II cabin which still stands

Moderate: 7+ miles along the Shawangunk Ridge and Clove Valley

Wed 9/18 - Panther, Slide & ?; Leave car at Slide parking area, Bushwhack to Panther from Woodland Valley,
descent over Giant Ledge, then Bushwhack to Slide. Either return to Slide Parking area or go over
Cornell & Wittenberg to WV, depending on how we feel.
