Wednesday, January 11th, Intermediate
Meet - 10:00 AM
Greenport Conservancy, Hudson, NY
We will start at the Trail Head on Joslen Blvd after spotting cars at Harrier Hill
Park. We will then hike out to the Gazebo overlooking the Hudson. We’ll follow the
trail from there, thru a gorge, across fields to the end point in Harrier Hill Park.
The hike has minimal elevation gain, of approximately 100’. Estimated time at a slow
pace is four hours. This is a SNOWSHOE HIKE. All participants must wear snowshoes.
Beginners will receive advice and a helping hand.
NOT ENOUGH SNOW CANCELS THE HIKE

Wednesday, January 25th, Intermediate
Meet - 10:00 AM
Codfish Point, Platte Clove (Snowshoe)
We will start from the Platte Clove Trail Head, thru a mix of moderate elevation gain,
and level areas to the Devil’s Kitchen Lean-To. The elevation is a little steeper
from there up to Codfish Point. There are beautiful views from the point out across the
Hudson, and to other area mountains. The elevation gain is approximately 700’,
but mostly moderate, with no ledges. Estimated time at a slow pace is five hours.
This is a SNOWSHOE HIKE. All participants must wear snowshoes. Beginners will receive
advice and a helping hand.
